The most widely recognised stainless steel sheet metal is grade 304. This is used in a variety of household, commercial and industrial applications. 304 metal sheeting is the dominant grade of steel, known as the metal of choice for sinks and saucepans. It requires little maintenance and offers longevity, with a much higher corrosion resistance than regular steel. Widely used because of the ease in which it is formed into various shapes. Also, the grade of choice for stainless steel splashbacks, architectural panelling, metal tube, signs and plaques.
